In the past, la vie citoyenne was everything to me: galas and receptions, glamorous parties of Zurich’s haute volée with vintage champagne. The rich intoxication and celebration beguiled me. I was on the verge of science: disciplined devotion to truth and knowledge – values that I still share, but which no longer structure my life. I love the unemotional search for meaning: travelling through the vastness of Asia, months of hiking alone in the Himalayas, meditating in an ashram. The greatest good is the freedom to be oneself and to be able to enter into a genuine connection with others. My desire always sends me in search of moments that make life vibrant. And that triggers feelings of elation… Come to the summit of freedom with me!
Jeanne Le Guinn about herself.
Formerly, la vie citoyenne was a matter of course for me: theatre and galas, receptions and glamorous parties. My Zurich haute volée in their sky-high understatement, quiet luxury with vintage champagne in the chalet… But things only get really interesting for me when I’m where the air is too thin for the average person. On the peaks of Global Academia, with truly challenging debates. Or travelling through the vastness of Asia, hiking alone in the Himalayas for months on end, meditating in an ashram – the most extravagant escapism! Because I have prioritised and explicitly sought out sexual experience and physical exchange since my early years, and have always done so with all genders, I live in erotic autonomy. At the core of my being lies a quiet self-assurance from which this profound, well-considered rebellion rises, triggering feelings of elation. The deep connection between struggle and pleasure. My body is the crosshairs I aim at the target of my desire, and my will is the unstoppable arrow – come to the summit of freedom with me!
